Due to Wilton CERT's extensive training in crowd control, traffic management, safety, and emergency communications, Wilton CERT is activated several times a year for planned community events. Our volunteers work alongside Wilton Police and Fire to make every event run safely and smoothly.

What CERT Does at Events

CERT volunteers are deployed under the direction of Wilton's Emergency Management Director and work in coordination with the Police and Fire Departments. Every activation is a real-world exercise that sharpens our skills while serving the community.
