CERT DEPLOYMENT PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work safely in a street or roadway setting. Walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time. Frequently reach with hands and arms. Occasionally crouch or stoop. Climb/descend stairs and or truck entries. Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs. Occasionally enter and work in a box truck. Withstand exposure to environmental conditions such as heat, rain, snow, cold and or/humidity.
The demands described above do not cover or contain a complete list of responsibilities or activities that may be requested by Wilton CERT. Responsibilities and activities may change, or other responsibilities and activities may be assigned, at any time with or without advance notice. CERT Volunteers acknowledge their responsibility to determine their own capabilities, and will proactively work with the Deployment Captain to determine their roles during any activation. Ask your Deployment Captain if you have any questions regarding your responsibilities.
